Preliminary exercise feedback and learner response
1) Type up your teacher's feedback in full. If you've received your feedback via email, you can simply cut and paste it from the email into your blog.
WWW:
1. Some clear conventions of a magazine front cover demonstrated such as masthead, cover lines, main cover line and central image which would communicate some meaning to the intended audience
2. Some brand identity established using a colour scheme
Next steps:
1. Your magazine cover does not fully meet the brief intentions – you are producing a celebrity gossip magazine, but the double page spread, and main cover line is focusing on a celebrity influence
2. You need to ensure that you meet deadlines e.g. completing the main front cover and double spread also including the 350-400 words focusing on your celebrity influencer making positive lifestyle changes. Remember that it is your responsibility to also export your coursework production to JPG too
2) Using a combination of your own reflection on the preliminary exercise and the feedback you were given, write two WWW bullet points (What Went Well) and two Next Step bullet points for your preliminary exercise.
good front cover
create brand identity
write a double page spread
and finish before deadline
3) What have you learned from the preliminary exercise that will help you in the actual coursework project? List three things you have learned or will do differently as a result of this exercise. You may want to comment on organisation, actors, filming, editing or something else entirely but be specific.
include more actors and better editing
follow the brief better
and finished double page spread
